Senior Design
Under the direction of a faculty and industry mentor, in groups of 4-5, graduating seniors spend 20 weeks over winter and spring quarters developing unique designs to address real-world challenges and opportunities. The course culminates in a final design, written report, and poster symposium.

- Remediation of groundwater due to hydrocarbon contamination
- Redesigning a Water Treatment Facility to address increasing TDS concentrations
- Designing a air scrubber biochar adsorption column to remove ammonia from the air (EPA P3 Funded Project)
2023 Environmental Projects:
- Remediation of groundwater due to hydrocarbon contamination
- Redesigning a Water Treatment Facility to address TDS levels
- Designing a novel 3-phase ammonia scrubber for improved air quality (EPA P3 Funded Project)
- Designing and testing a novel catalytic converter for small off-road engines (EPA P3 Funded Project)
